This exhibition includes a number of large studio paintings based on pre-pandemic travel experiences in cities such as New York, Barcelona, London, Paris, Seoul, Sydney, Melbourne, Kyoto, Tokyo and Newcastle. These works cover several decades and explore the aesthetics of the built environment highlighting the play of light and colour. The show also includes smaller plein air urban scenes and an experimental moving image of daily life.
